Hello, fellow crafters! It’s Jennifer here on the blog today, sharing a fun fortune teller shaker tag. I’m absolutely in love with the colors and accents from the Stamperia Fortune collection. The beautiful shades of blue, gold, and brown make this collection a joy to work with!
I began by staining the shaker rings and some art stones with a deep brown Unicorn Spit. While that gorgeous hue dried, I gently peeled off one side of the protective film from the acrylic piece, ensuring the other side remained to protect it. Then, I applied some brown alcohol ink and used a splatter brush to create a captivating watery effect that truly brought the piece to life!
I grabbed a sheet of printed paper, traced it, and then carefully cut it out. I used an X-Acto knife to tidy up the edges of both the front and back of the tag, ensuring a crisp finish!
While the alcohol ink dried, I applied some aged brass metallique wax to the top and back side ring of the shaker. This added a beautiful touch that seamlessly blended with the gold tones in the paper collection!

I sifted through my stash of sparkles, glitter, and beads to find the perfect shades and mix for the shaker portion of my tag!
I carefully covered both sides of the tag with the paper I had meticulously traced and cut out, inking the edges with a rich, dark brown to give it a touch of depth. Next, I assembled the shaker portion, filling it with a delightful array of die cuts from the collection. To add an artistic flair, I sprinkled art stones around the circle, creating a textured, enchanting effect. To finish it off, I adorned the outer edge of the shaker with vibrant colored cabochons, adding a pop of color and whimsy.
Finally, I gathered some delicate cheesecloth and a beautiful ribbon to thread through the top of the tag, tying everything together perfectly. I absolutely adore this paper collection and these shaker tags! Thank you for stopping by! ~Jennifer
