Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a project using one of the new Clear Scraps Memory-Dex Boxes!
This is the new House Memory-Dex Box and it's got so many possibilities! You can keep your eye on the blog for great ideas for this box for winter, Christmas, Halloween and more! I loved the idea of the simple brown stain/paint look picket fence. It looks so warm and cozy with the fall color pallet in this project! You can assemble the box and then paint–I find it easier to paint all the pieces first. In addition to the brown color, the tops of the fence are brushed ever so lightly with some cream paint for a little highlight.
You can see the lighter paint from this side angle. I added the greetings strip down each side of the box. You could add a little garland, or anything you'd like. I like the clean garden gate look for this box. The back of the box is just layered stickers, starting with a sentiment, and then building around that with the deer and flower stickers and a few enamel dots.
The same idea here on the front of the box. The autumn saying was layered in with leaves, pumpkins, and the "Hello Autumn" sticker. Foam tape adds a layer of dimension to a project that makes it easier to layer in many items to fill a space and create a pretty arrangement.
In the first picture you can see a peek of the cards that were created to fill this box. Keep an eye out for them–they will be coming to the blog soon! The cards used were the House Chip Dividers set (a perfect match for this box!) and the Rounded Tag Chip Dividers. With all the different dividers to choose from, you can make this your own! Find them all HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
