Hey crafters! Jennifer here, and today I’m excited to share a delightful project! I had some fabulous leftover Christmas paper just begging to be used, so I crafted a mini tag album that captures the magic of Christmas memories with my family and our adorable fur babies.
To amp up the festive flair, I included the charming hot cocoa cup from the mini holiday cutouts—because what's cozier than cocoa during the holidays? This quick and fun album is the perfect way to showcase those cherished moments all season long. Can’t wait for you to see how it turned out!
First, I used my crop-a-dile to punch holes into the sides of the tags. Then, I traced each tag onto the paper and carefully cut them out. To achieve that polished look, I used an X-Acto knife and a file to smooth the edges. Then, I inked the edges with Tim Holtz's Red Brick for a festive pop of color. Next, I decorated both sides of the tags with a variety of embellishments, ribbons, and flowers. I made sure to create opportunities for photo mats, journaling tags, and even pockets to hold additional tags. Each detail adds a personal touch, making this album truly special. I also added pink Stickles to the front of the hot cocoa mug on the album, giving it a fun pop of color and extra sparkle. It really ties the whole project together and adds that festive touch!
For the hot cocoa cup, I traced the design onto my chosen paper and carefully cut it out. I inked the edges with the same Tim Holtz Red Brick for consistency. Next, I added a touch of sparkle by applying silver Stickles to the "whipped cream" portion of the cup, giving it a delightful shimmer. After that, I glued the pieces together, and the result is a charming addition to my album!
Next, I added pictures of our cherished Christmas memories featuring the family and our fur babies. To bring the album together, I used two book rings, and I embellished them with a mix of ribbons and dyed seam binding for that extra festive flair. The result is a beautiful, cohesive album that showcases our holiday moments in style! Thanks for stopping by. ~ Jennifer
