Happy January, fellow crafters! Jennifer here, and while it’s still winter, I’m already dreaming of spring. The springtime in South Texas is absolutely breathtaking, and it’s just the inspiration I need to shake off the winter chill. To get myself in the mood, I dove into some whimsical flowers and fairies and crafted this sweet waterfall album. It’s the perfect way to bring a little touch of spring into the season—can't wait to share it with you!
Waterfall album
First, I selected the perfect paper for each chipboard piece, carefully matching the designs to create a cohesive look. I then traced, cut, and glued the paper to the chipboard, making sure each piece was perfectly aligned. Once the glue had dried, I tidied up the edges with an X-Acto knife for a clean, crisp finish. To add a bit of depth and dimension, I gently inked the edges with a rich brown ink, giving everything a soft, vintage touch.
I designed this album with the intention of capturing the fresh beginnings of spring, making it the perfect spot for journaling those first sunny days. The pages feature plenty of room for both journaling cards and photo opportunities, with charming pockets filled with flower stickers and delicate tags. To bring the album to life, I added soft green moss and resin flowers as embellishments, giving each page a fresh, nature-inspired touch. Every tag, photo mat, and journaling card was inked with the same warm brown hue I used on the chipboard, ensuring a cohesive, vintage feel throughout the album. It’s the perfect place to document the beauty and promise of spring!
This little journaling album is a whimsical garden, filled with enchanting flowers and delicate fairies. It’s a magical space to capture your thoughts, memories, and dreams, with each page offering a touch of nature’s beauty and a sprinkle of fairy-tale charm. Perfect for spring, or anytime you need a dash of enchantment in your life!
