Clear Scraps–Mini Shaker Frame–Kiss Me

Hello there everyone!  Who loves St. Patty's Day?!!  Laura here sharing a St. Patrick's Day card idea that you can send/give to a special someone!

I love to change up from making the "usual" card to creating an easel card.  It somehow feels more special, but it's just as easy to make!  Especially when you use one of the Clear Scraps Mini Shakers!  The base was made to fit this 3×4 frame, so it was cut at a 5(wide)x4" size.  The full length to make the easel is 10" by 5".  You score at 4", 4" and 2" and you make the front (that the shaker is glued to) at 5×4".  I used black cardstock with green matted with a 1/8" border to make it super sturdy.   The card folds down neatly to look like this:

The movement of the sequins in the Mini Shaker adds some sparkle and fun to a simple card like this.  Just a few stickers and it's done.

With the many shakers to choose from, you can find one for just about anything, but it's really great to pick up a few of these basic Mini Shakers like this Mini Shaker Scallop Rectangle 3×4.  You can use them for absolutely ANY project!

The nice thing about these–they will hold a 3×4" photo as well!  This frame can be used for a card as shown in this project, but would also be great on a scrapbook page as a fun, interactive accent, or even a home decor project like adding it to one of Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes.  These are so great to have in your crafty stash so you can grab, customize, and use to add that extra "something" to whatever you are creating!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
