Tags are one of my favorite projects to create because they’re quick, versatile, and a great way to use up patterned paper and embellishments. Hey there, Judy here with with a couple of Valentine themed tags created for my latest project for Clear Scraps.

For these I am using a Chipboard Pentagon Tag, a Chipboard Angle Tag and Chipboard LOVE Punchout Embellishments.

I started by choosing 2 double sided patterned papers.
Tracing the tags onto the papers. Cutting out the tag shapes and adhering to both sides of the tags.

Next, I chose the chipboard embellishments I wanted to use and painted them with acrylic paint to coordinate with the patterned papers.

I did some die cutting to add to the tags.

The chipboard embellishments are added to the die cuts and then adhered to the tags. A decorative strip was constructed and added as well.
To finish each tag, I tied coordinating ribbon and fibers through the tops for extra height, movement, and a polished look. These ribbon toppers add just the right amount of flair and make the tags feel extra special.

These handmade tags would be perfect attached to a gift, tucked into a card, or used as party favors. They’re proof that small projects can still make a big impact—especially when created with love.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope these tags inspire you to create a few of your own!
