Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a LO idea to help you scrapbook all those snowy winter pictures!

Soft and pastel, and the best part–you can make the embellishments and background match whatever you’d like because it was created using the Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments & Stencils!
The background on this LO started with a basic 12×12 piece of white cardstock.

This background was created using the Clear Scraps 6″ Polka Dot stencil and distress inks applied with a soft brush.
Once the stencil was done, I cut and layered the background patterned papers and made a photo mat for the picture. Then it was time to embellish!

The “winter” title needed something fun to make it “pop”–enter Clear Scraps chipboard embellishments! The cute Mittens with Strings Chipboard Embellishment! This was painted with acrylic paint, and then a thin layer of glue and a bit of glitter over the “furry” cuffs of the mittens makes it the perfect layering addition!

For the final customized touch on this LO–I used the Clear Scraps Tag Mittens Chipboard Embellishment. The tag was painted in a wintery white, then brushed with a bit of the blue from the mittens. You could easily give the mittens a “print” by tracing and cutting out on a pretty patterned paper, but I liked the “barnwood/worn” look of the paint showing through. That’s part of what makes these Clear Scraps embellishments fun–you can make them your own!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you got a little scrapbook inspiration for all those winter LO’s! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
