Hi y’all!! Can you believe that it is already MARCH!? I certainly can’t!
Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you today on this glorious Saturday! I hope your weekend is shaping up to be quite beautiful and maybe even productive.

What do you think of when the calendar flips over to March?
I think of St. Patrick’s Day and WHAT am I going to wear to work that day!? LOL..True story!
I already have my outfit picked out and ready to go! But you know what else I think about? I think of My Irish heritage. I think of my son’s love for beer and how he will be going to a pub that day. I also I think about my daughter’s love of coffee…especially the Irish Variety!

That brings me to my project for today! You all know my love for the clear acrylic tags is more of an obsession, right? Well, it is. As is my daughter’s love for coffee. I decided to create a Clear Tag and ad the Coffee Cup Shaker to it…and give it an Irish spin! I used the #10 Acrylic Angle tag for this and it was perfect!

After assembling the coffee mug, I simply painted it with gold paint and sprinkled glitter on it before it dried. I used Gold Glitter Cardstock for the backing, and puffy shamrock stickers to keep the” “Lucky” Irish vibe . I tossed in some coffee bean filler before sealing it up. All the green is nothing more than green alcohol ink that I splatted onto the tag. Once it dried, I added the shaker and used a white acrylic marker for the edges. I added a few more green embellishments to enhance the “Irish Coffee” concept and it was done!
