The focal point of this layout is a Clear Scraps scalloped circle frame. It's the perfect accent for one of my favorite photos!

Supply List:

Clear Scraps Scallop Circle Frames
Beige Cardstock
Tsukineko Walnut Inks
Fiber Scraps EZ Tintz Walnut Inks
Rubber Stamps by Stampendous: Sketched Daisy and Sketched Blossoms
Clear Stamps by Autumn Leaves: Stitched Journaling Panels by Maryann Wise
Clear Stamps by Fancy Pants: Chic Alpha
StaZon ink in Timber Brown
Distress Ink by Tim Holtz / Ranger Industries ~ Vintage Photo and Tea Dye
Zig Painty Pen in Burnt Caramel
Prima Flower
Lumiere Metallic Paint in Metallic Bronze by Jacquard Products
Brad by Hot Off the Press / Accent Depot
Zip Dry Paper Glue
Fiskars Mini Scallop Paper Edgers
Glue Dots

Instructions:

First, use pieces of cut-up newspaper or other scrap paper to layer on top of the cardstock. Then lightly spritz walnut ink onto the cardstock. Vary the placement of the newspaper and use a variety of colors of walnut ink so that you end up with interesting geometric blocks of color.

Stamp the Sketched Daisy and Sketched Blossom rubber stamps onto the paper using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Next, use the Clear Scraps scallop circle frame as a template to trace around your photo and cut it out. Then ink the scallop circle frame with Timber Brown Stazon and let it dry. When it is dry, draw around the outline of the flower with the Zig Painty Pen. Attach the frame to the photo using Zip Dry paper glue. Make sure to spread the glue evenly ~ you can use a sponge brush or paintbrush to do this. Then attach the photo to the layout using more Zip Dry.

Stamp your title using Fancy Pants Chic Alpha and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Cut out each letter using Fiskars Mini Scallop Paper Edgers. Attach the letters to the layout.

Paint the Prima flower with Lumiere metallic paint and let it dry. Fasten a bronze colored brad in the center of the flower and attach the Prima flower to the layout using a Glue Dot.

Stamp the journaling panels using Tea Dye Distress Ink. Complete the journaling using the Zig Painty Pen.

Add the layout to your scrapbook album, and enjoy!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Clear Scraps blog! Hope your week is off to a great start.
