Perfect way to start your day…

with a nice warm cup of coffee. This drink has become such a creature of habit for many of us, wether it's Starbucks or your own home brew.

Today I am sharing with you a Clear Scraps Clear-N-Chip Caroione's Caffe mini album. This is a mixed album made up of both acrylic and chipboard pieces. The bonus is that I still have more than enough pieces left over from this package to make a whole new similar mini album.

I made this album just for display at the Clear Scraps booths, so it is photo-less and contains a lot of the little pieces that come in the package to help give you all some ideas on how to use them.

For the cover I simply painted the cup white and then to get the effect of a plastic lid I just covered that portion of the cup with Glossy Accents. The chipboard coffee cozy was embossed with an embossing folder.

The acrylic pieces were also run through embossing folders and then the sugar cubes were painted white and then clear glitter  on top of that. The ice cubes I simply adhered with Glossy Accents and that gave them the dimension of ice.

For the acrylic coffee mug outlined it with a white paint pen and then glossy accents where I wanted the glitter. The steam was just tissue paper that I applied to it.

For the mug I just painted it brown and the whipped cream was painted white and glitter sprinkled on the paint before it dried.

                                            Cscoffee7

                                           Cscoffee8

Just more embossing of the acrylic on these two.

Hee, perhaps my favorite of the bunch…the doughnut! First painted brown, then after that dried the white frosting was painted on. Then seed beads adheres for the sprinkles. Lastly a coating of Glossy Accents over the frosting for that glazed look! Cool huh?!

Other supplies:

My Minds Eye Lost & Found Breeze 6×6 pad and brads

Coffee Stain stamp from Studio Calico

Embossing Folders from Spellbinders

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
