Clear Scraps Project Post

Clear Scraps has an incredible collection of small Expressions titles (like Splash, Happy Birthday, Meow, Love, Laugh, and lots more)  They're perfect for all types of layouts and cards.  But they also have the larger (some longer than 12") Expressions titles (like Memories, Together, Family, to name a few).  In the past, I've used several for Home Decor items – where the finished project size isn't determined by a 12×12 piece of paper – here are a few:

But sometimes the word is perfect and you need it on a layout or an album cover that it just won't fit on.  That's when you have to get a little creative and MAKE it fit.  In order to get MEMORIES to fit on this 12×12 Top-Load album cover, I had to cut all the letters of the word apart and overlap them.  Before I glued them all down on the cover though, I used alcohol ink to colour them and then outlined them all in a gold-leaf marker so that even overlapped, they'd stand out as separate letters and be legible.
