It's hard to believe that it has been eleven years since 9/11. I think it is on this day, more than any other day in the year that I look at my family and am SO VERY THANKFUL for all the I have been blessed with. So many lost so much on that terrible day….a day most of us will NEVER forget.
With this thought in mind I created the following layout. Wouldn't you know it that Clear Scraps had perfect timing! They just released four brand new Small Expression Word Titles and BLESSINGS is one of those words (along with Courage, Journey, and Holiday).
I embellished the word with a strip of Washi Tape. I just layed it right over the middle of the word and the turned it over and cut out all of the pieces in the middle of and between the letters with an exacto knife. Outined it with a Zig Paint Pen and then I stitched down the middle of it with my sewing machine (yes, you can totally do that with almost all of the acrylic pieces from Clear Scraps!!!).
