Hi! Jennifer here to share an altered canvas I did using Clear Scraps and Quick Quotes products. Autumn is by far my favorite time of the year so I was excited to create something fall themed!
My first step was inking the edges of my canvas with Quick Quotes Power Puff Biscotti chalk ink. Before layering my paper onto the canvas, I used my distress tool and the chalk ink on the edges to give it a distressed look.
My next step was taking beige-colored acrylic paint to the edges of the paper and canvas. I also placed a large amount where I wanted Autumn Leaves Vellum Quote to be. I stitched around the quote and added paper rosettes and decorative leaf pins.
Next, I adhered the Quick Quotes Whimsical Tree to my canvas after inking with the Powder Puff chalk ink. I took alcohol ink and colored the two birds from the Clearly Accent Birds and Cage Embellishment. I adhered the birds to the tree using liquid adhesive and added black rhinestones for the eyes.
Next, I inked one of the acrylic leaves from the Clearly Accent Leaves Embellishment and adhered it to the top right of my canvas. I finished it by added a cute button with baker's twine.
