Hello once again fellow crafters! Kay here bringing you my very first Send It Clear card! I finally got the chance to play with these transparent cards & I love the versatility that they have. Since Christmas is right around the corner–I decided to do a Christmas themed card. I used the Deco Send It Clear Card as the base.
To add more visual interest to the front of the card I highlighted the edges of the cover with dots of red & silver Stickles.
Here I've opened only the left side of the card. As you can see, the doily is actually inside the card–this is where you would write your sentiment. When the card is closed, the doily peeks through and looks as if it's tucked underneath my large fabric green flower. That's the beauty of acrylic!

Quick tip–I've accentuated the inside border of the card with Diamond Dust. The Diamond Dust gives off almost this snowy/tinsel effect & adds a nice touch to any Holiday themed project. Here are the steps to achieve this.
You'll need Diamond Dust (found in most local or online craft stores) & two-sided tape.
Place your two-sided tape along the border of your project as shown here. Once done, peel off the top tape liner revealing the sticky tape underneath. Then just simply sprinkle the Diamond Dust along the sticky tape while gently pressing down so the particles stick.
Simple as that! You can actually go a bit further & add even more texture to this technique–but I'll be showing this in a future post…so stay tuned!
