Flora Tea Giftbox Décor Tutorial

Hello scrappers,

Katie here today with a short tutorial in what you can do with Clear Scraps mixer and acrylic border as part of a giftbox décor… I created this giftbox using Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper collection for a friend, a box that contain the various fashion teabags I've handmade…

Step 1: Gather your materials… I'm using this oval frame mixer, gold paint from Daler Rowney and a sponge dabber…

Step 2: Dab some gold paint with a dabber and gently dab around the mixer to create a rim at the centre of giftbox cover…

Step 3: Once done dabbing, cut the frame out and trace the shape on a pattern paper.. Cut the pattern out and adhere below the frame using glossy accents…

Trim off the excess edges using a craft knife and clean the edges by sanding the edges using a sandblock…

Step 4: To add some dimensions to the frame, stamp some script text oer the top of the fram (not onto the pattern paper) using Timber Brown StazOn ink…

Step 5: Dab some gold paint around the frame edges to define the frame…

I cut a small section out from the swirl border and applied some gold paint and did some stamping…

And once is all done up, it's ready for embellishing onto the stenciled gold rim… The rim and the prep frame and border will provide some dimension and looks more 3D…
