Hello friends! Jennifer here today on the blog to share a layout I created using the Garden Acrylic Border and the 6 inch Wood Grain Mascil. Warmer weather has hit Central Illinois which puts me in the mood to do some spring scrapping!
Here's how I embellished my acrylic border! First I applied a small amount of alcohol ink to the applicator. I use small circles to cover the entire face of the acrylic. You can also use a "dabbing" motion.
After drying (which is quick!), I used washi tape to secure my Mascil in place. Using modeling paste, I applied a small amount and spread in a downward motion until even. I did the same process for the top of the border as well. You can always use a 12 inch Mascil but I wanted the more fine details of the 6 inch.
Here are some close ups of my acrylic border! I added in a few coordinating brads, sequins, and stickers.
