Its all about that TAG!

Hello Clear Scraps family! We have some exciting new programs for 2016, TAGS, TAGS, TAGS! Each month our amazing design team will be helping you with some special inspiration on how to work with acrylic or chipboard tags. They will show you in a step by step tutorial how they created there special tag creation. I am hear to show you mine for January 2016. 

January 2016 acrylic tag-

Tag with Chip embellishments resized

I am going to highlight just a few steps because you can download and print the full instruction at the bottom of the post (see below)

Take the Clear Scraps acrylic tag and run thru an embossing machine with some sort of script embossing envelope. Leave the protective film on the acrylic.  IMG_1289_edited-1On the back side of the acrylic tag and both front and back of the chipboard embellishments apply
alcohol ink. Cover all pieces to desired look. Take distress ink to the chipboard to create desired look.
Turn acrylic tag over so embossing is facing up. Remove the protective film from the front. Take
black staz-on ink pad and gently rub over the embossed area to create desired look.

Apply lace and ribbon to the front as shown in picture. Start layering the chipboard embellishments as
desired. Be sure to always use a solvent based adhesive when adhering to the acrylic. Finish off with
stamped sentiment, ribbon and film strip embellishment.
