Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing a mini book I created using the Build It Your Way Small 5 x 7.5 Acrylic Binder and the BIYW Fun Tabs 6.5 x 6.5 Acrylic Pages.  I know I've written this before, but the Build It Your Way Albums have been one of my favorite products since they were released!  I love how they look as well as the variety of acrylic and chipboard pages available.  The binders are very sturdy  and you are able to fit a lot of pages into your book!  I have been a fan of Clear Scraps long before I started designing for them!  

Here is a close up of the front of my book!  I love the "bare" acrylic look; I think it is classy and clean. However, that is another wonderful thing about Clear Scraps…you can alter your acrylic (or chipboard) in a variety of ways to make it your own!  The acrylic allows you to see through the many layers of your book! 

So for each page, I try to "line up" my papers and embellishments so that they mirror each other. That way there isn't a pattern peaking through from the the other side or the backside of chipboard/stickers. It doesn't come out perfect all of the time but that's ok! Remember its YOUR creation and YOUR art so there isn't a wrong way! 

With my mini albums I like to insert extra pages by using papers, envelopes, or tags.  Here, I used my bone folder and created a flap that I decorated on the outside. 

The inside of my flap I added journaling as well as extra embellishments!
