Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing my patriotic themed tag for July! I wanted to use the July 4th Chipboard Word Title for this month and I'm going to show you an easy way to embellish it!
As always with Clear Scraps acrylic, an easy way to add color is with alcohol ink. Here, I used a light layer of Ranger Alcohol Ink in Red Pepper. It also dries quickly so that is nice!
Next, I took my Chipboard Word Title and applied a layer of acrylic paint. I wanted it to look a bit distressed do I didn't care too much about coverage. After allowing my paint to dry, I applied embossing ink and powder. I used my heat tool to set the embossing powder.
Here is a close up of the result!
I also added a rosette die as well as some small embellishments to finish!
Creating the tag didn't take me more than 20 min from start to finish!
Have a wonderful day!
