Hello! Jennifer here on the blog today! I hope you have been enjoying all of the wonderful NEW releases from Clear Scraps! I am amazed on what Susan and Jim come up with!
Today, I'm sharing the new Clear Sled Box that I altered! How cute is this for a Christmas centerpiece or to add little goodies as a nice gift?
The easiest way to color your acrylic is with alcohol ink! Here, I started with Ranger Alcohol Ink in Red Pepper and covered each piece of the sled. After drying, I assembled my sled using the clear circle stickers and my Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive. I then carefully covered the sled with newspaper and painter's tape so I could color the "metal" portion of the sled. Using Krylon Spray Paint in gold, I added two layers of paint. It gives the sled a nice metallic touch!
Afterwards, I added patterned papers and embellishments to decorate. I then filled my sled with mini Christmas ornaments and sat it on my table in the foyer!
Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out all of the new goodies at the Clear Scraps shop! Have a great day!
