New Chipboard Embellishments on Tags by Wendy Price

I love working the tags from Clear Scraps. They're like tiny canvases just waiting to be decorated! Today I'm sharing two tags that I created using the new Chipboard Embellishments.

This first tag features the new X-Mas Swirl Bulbs Chipboard and a fun alcohol ink technique!

Instructions:

  1. Drop alcohol ink onto the acrylic tag, place a piece of plastic wrap over top the alcohol ink, scrunch the plastic wrap to create wrinkles and set the tag aside to dry for a few days. When you pull off the plastic wrap you are left with the wrinkled design. To make the design pop, paint over the design with white acrylic paint.
  2. Paint chipboard ornament with gesso. Color with alcohol inks/markers. Use blending solution to mix colors. Coat with Glossy Accents and sprinkle with glitter.
  3. Stamp script on the front of the acrylic tag.
  4. Die cut foliage and adhere to tag.
  5. Adhere chipboard piece to tag. Embellish with ribbon and string.

This next tag features the new Oak Tree Chipboard Embellishment.
