The weather is starting to cool down a bit here. A sign that fall is just around the corner! For my tag this month, I created a fall tag using the Clear Scraps Chipboard Tag Album.
I placed a leaf die on the chipboard and ran it through the die cut machine. I used a shim of extra paper to get a good impression. The wafer thin dies won't cut through the chipboard but they will cut the surface of the chipboard. I was able to pull away the chipboard top layer revealing the fuzzy chipboard layer underneath. I repeated this technique on the entire tag to create the leaf pattern.
I colored the tree with alcohol markers. Spritzed it with blending solution to mottle the colors and gave it a coat of Glossy Accents.
