Hi friends! It's Jennifer and I'm here to share an easy, fun layout using the new Stars Chipboard Embellishments! Clear Scraps has a large variety of accent shapes perfect for just about any project! Stars are one of my favorite shapes so I was instantly drawn to them when the new release was revealed!
I started with one of the XL Deco Shapes which are 12×12 and a way to change up your layouts! I used Ranger Alcohol ink in Mermaid to color the outside edges of my acrylic.
I set aside my Deco Shape to allow the alcohol ink to dry (which doesn't take long) so I could paint my Stars Chipboard Embellishments. I added a few layers of Distress Paint in Cracked Pistachio covering the entire front of the chipboard.
After the paint was dry, I used my embossing ink and clear embossing powder to give the stars a bit of "shine".
The stars make great accents to my page with the pop of teal color against the background!
I layered die cuts and stickers from the collection I used along with a cute journaling tag.
Up close shot of the alcohol ink color on the acrylic! Remember it doesn't have to be perfect (mine rarely are LOL) and don't be afraid to experiments with colors! You may be surprised at your results!
Thank you for stopping by today! Go to the Clear Scraps shop to check out all of the Chipboard Shape Embellishments plus much more! Have a great day!
