Hey there Clear Scraps friends and family, it is Pinky today and I have a fun mixed media March Tag to share today using the NEW 5X9 Feathers Layering Stencilc and I am in love with these new Layer Stencils for mixed media!
So you probably know I love the graduated paint colors of course I used 3 colors to paint the tag itself, I used the 5X9 Feathers Layering Stencil and painted the base a bright purple, then I took some modeling paste and I mixed a Tsp with 3 different colors of paint so I had about a Tsp of each color. I then used the 3 colors to add the second layer to the stencil. I love the look.
After that I used the leftover paste to create the 6" Monarch Butterfly Stencil the one butterfly.
After that I used the Clear Scraps Spring Sequins and I had a LOVE & Breathe around in my stash. Oh and I shouldn't forget that I used the same bright purple paint to edge the tag. These tags are so much fun, you should try them, a great way to expand your mixed media knowledge without messing up a full project if you are experimenting! Plus you can add them to layouts, etc…
