March Tag with Leah

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here, woohoo!

Today I'm sharing how I made my March tag. Doesn't it just scream spring, sunshine, and happiness?

I used Clear Scraps Scalloped Tags for this months tag.

To start, I decided I wanted a dry embossed effect, so I grabbed my embossing folder and positioned it atop the tag.

Once I ran it through my Big Shot, I peeled off the protective film from the front and back of the acrylic tag.

I love the feeling of peeling the film away from the acrylic after having embossed it. I then adhered the pattern paper to the back using Beacons 3-in-1 liquid adhesive.

Use your Kraft knife to cut away the excess paper. I then took some alcohol ink (you could also use Stazon ink) to add some color and definition to the embossed words. Then, start layering your tags or pattern papers.
