June Tag with Jennifer

Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm back on the blog to share my tag for this month!  Dream catchers are definitely in trend right now and I love the color palette of this Echo Park Paper collection! I'm going to show you easy techniques to give your tag some wow!

First off, I colored my Acrylic Tag with Ranger Alcohol Ink in Butterscotch.  We prefer alcohol inks over any other because they are solvent based and will "adhere" to the smooth, non-porous surface of the acrylic.  Also, it dries fast!  I chose one color but you can definitely play around and blend in different favorites!

I then FLIPPED my tag over (to prevent any smudging of color) and used the 6 Inch Imagine Mascil with metallic paste.  I wanted to use only the "dream" script so I blocked it off using washi tape.

Before lifting my Mascil, I lightly sprinkled the metallic paste with dry glitter to give a little sparkle to my tag!

Ok so it didn't turn out perfect but its a learning process right? LOL  I think I was in too much of a hurry and didn't use my anti-static pouch.

Once my  word was dry, I added patterned papers from the collection as well as stickers.  I love pennants and created a banner with some of the coordinating stickers! I also used foam tape to pop up my dream catcher to give some dimension to my tag! Lastly, using some spray ink I colored my ribbon to match my paper  and tied to the top once dry!
