Wintery Little Box with Nancy

Hey everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a wintery little box I made with the 3.5×5 inch Clear Acrylic Box and the Shattered Glass Mascil in 6×6.  You know how much I love these little boxes, they are perfect for stashing little odds and ends to keep things looking neat and tidy.

After removing the protective coating from each piece, I began by placing washi tape on each of the corners of the box.  Not only did the washi tape look pretty, and add color, but it helps hold the box together.

Next, I used gel medium and my Shattered Glass stencil on each side of the box.  After allowing that to dry I used a number of spray inks to lightly color the box.  The ink only sticks to the gel medium, not the clean acrylic, thus proving the stained glass effect.

Finally I embellished the top of the box with lots of goodies from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by.
