Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm here to share a layout I  created with the new 6 Inch Diamond Heart Mascil! I  also have an easy, fun technique you can use on your page! 

I  secured my Mascil to my card stock using washi tape to prevent movement. Using three coordinating Distress Inks, and a foam applicator I  applied the ink in layers with a circular motion.

Here is the result of the ink!  The colors can intermix and be as light or dark as you prefer. 

Next, I  punched small holes in my card stock to hand stitch around my heart.  I   chose a turquoise embroidery floss for the outside edges. I    then used an off white embroidery floss for the "criss cross" spaces.  

And here is the final result!  I  love how the bright colors turned out! 

I  used the foam thickers from the collection as my title as well as coordinating die cuts and stickers!
