Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a great day.  Today I want to share with you a fun project I made using the new Dandelion Wind and Write Your Story Mascils.

I had an old notebook/tablet cover that had a few stains and thought it was the perfect canvas for an upgrade.  I began by taping off the elastic strap that holds it closed.

I then covered the entire notebook with white gesso.  I didn't try to get total coverage, but did try and turn it "white" for the most part.

With a mix of paints, I pounced my colors through the stencil and onto the notebook cover.

When the paint was dry, I sprayed some spray ink over the top to blend the colors.  

I love the way that the notebook no longer shows its wear and look forward to using it in the coming months.
