Hello friends! Jennifer back today to share a layout I created using the new This Is Us Chipboard Word Title! Layouts are probably my number one project to create so the Chipboard Word Titles are a great focal point! I also have some fun and easy techniques to share with you as well!
I wanted to add a little dimension to my page. After adhering my patterned papers, I used washi tape to secure the 6 Inch Circle Heart Mascil to the top left of my page. Using a spatula, I applied modeling paste in a diagonal downward motion. I did not worry about making sure all of the circles were filled. I repeated this same technique on the bottom right of my page.
Here is a close up of the end result! As you can see it doesn't have to be perfect! I even went back an added a second layer of circles after the first had dried.
While my modeling paste dried, I went to work on my Chipboard Word Title. I applied a couple coats of grey acrylic paint to the front of the chipboard.
After my paint was dry, I wanted to add some texture to my chipboard. Using a embossing ink and clear glitter embossing powder is my go-to technique with the chipboard! I know you've seen me share this many times, but I love the way it looks!
And here is the end result! I adhered my title over a portion of the modeling paste as well as added in die cut and chipboard embellishments.
Showing additional photos of my layout! I love to layer small embellishments around my photos!
