Clear Scraps Project Post

Hey there Clear Scraps family and friends, it is Pinky again today with another fun project, this one is my Tag project for May!

I just fell in love with the 6" Write your Story Stencil and knew I wanted to do something a little different with it, so I decided to take a Chipboard Tag from the Tag album and Tag Box set and paint it with several paint colors, like I love to do (very RAINBOW-ish) and use spray paint to create the "Write your own Story" on the bottom, but there was a purpose! I created this for a girl friend to remind her to journal the small things in life, so I made it into a writing tablet!!

I created the front, and allowed it to dry, you can see the pearl drops I added to the feather, and the gemstones and ribbon, but then on the back I covered it with patterned paper. 

Trimmed off the excess paper, added the ribbon bow, and then took a tablet. Just a small tablet, I used my trimmer to cut it down to the Chipboard Tag size , then adhering it to the back! It's just like a regular tablet only smaller. But it has such an inspiring cover, hopefully she jots down what her thoughts are!
