Hello! It's Jennifer back to share one of the new releases from Clear Scraps this summer! The 6×8 Wood Albums come in nine different designs and have many creative options from mini album to travel notebook! Using the Crosses Wood Album I created a prayer journal. I started by painting my covers with chalk paint in grey. I then adhered patterned paper, ribbon, and embellishments.
I also adhered patterned paper to the inside of the front cover so color would show through the crosses.
I colored smooth white cardstock with Distress Oxide inks along with embellishments and stamps from my bible journaling stash. I also used washi tape to reinforce the edges to prevent tears.
Using patterned papers, I cut dividers for my prayer book. I may add embellishments at a later date or leave blank!
