Hello Clear Scraps friends! It's Jennifer on the blog to share a layout I created using one of the many Chipboard Word Titles! I love that Clear Scraps offers so many titles plus embellishment shapes to make your project just perfect! This month we celebrate Grandparents Day here in the US, so I wanted to use the Grandma Chipboard Word Title. I love this photo of my son and my mom from Noah's 2nd birthday.
Knowing I was going to use mainly bright colors in my layout, I went with a contrasting color for my title. I painted my chipboard with Color Shift from Folk Art in Black Flash. If you have not tried this paint yet, I highly recommend it! The coverage is fantastic and I love the end result!
Paired with smaller black letter stickers, my title really pops agains the white cardstock and bright prints! I also accented with smaller embellishments to aid in the contrast.
Another way to show fluidity in your layout is to have a repeating shape. I used a cut file on my Silhouette as well as adhered hand punched circles in various sizes. I'm also a big fan of pop dots and love to add dimension as well!
