Hi there everybody!
Laura here to share a little scrappy fun with you today,
and give you a little inspiration on trying something new
when preserving your memories with family, friends, and
like mine here…..grandparents!
I've always been intrigued by Clear Scraps cool 12" Acrylic Sheets.
they can make for a really interesting look for a scrapbook
layout that is different than the same old thing.
This layout was created using paper and stickers in layers on the
12" Acrylic Sheet….that blank space in the upper right is actually clear…
you can see the slight outline in the picture on the right.
The picture is a typical 4"x6" (trimmed down about 1/4" on each side
matted on the same gray patterned paper
that is also under the word family.
The green patterned paper the matted picture is on
is 9" wide by 6" and I next layered on the 12" by 5&1/2"
piece of gray paper across the bottom that
perfectly fits the word Family from the Clear Scraps XL
Script Wood Words collection. These pieces are another
versatile item from Clear Scraps that can be used for
any number of projects.
This is such a fun addition to this page, really gives it a 3D look.
I just painted it with green paint, then using a paint dauber,
added splotches of white paint on top to add a little pattern
to it. I used Beacon Adhesive to glue all the paper and pieces
down, including the wooden word.
I'm glad I chose to think outside the box and use the
Acrylic Sheet and Script Wood Word for this layout of this special memory,
since it's not often we get to spend time with all the
grandparents together since we all live so far apart!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Stop back soon for more inspiration!
