Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi, Connie here with a home decor project using the medium Deco Pallet shape and one of the Wood Word Quotes by Clear Scraps.  This is a fun project for that someone special.

Instructions along with photos:

1. Paint the Deco Pallet board with acrylic paint (teal).
2. Sand the edges and surface (distress look).
3. Apply Plaid stencil in random spots using acrylic paint (pink).
4. Paint quote with acrylic paint (pink).

5. Add ivy to the side of the "F" on the quote.
6. Punch in holes at top of Deco pallet.  I used the crop-a-dile tool.
7. Glue the quote words on the front of the Deco pallet board.  I used Beacon 527.

The ivy can be added free hand or a stencil can be used to create this look.   Another idea is stencil (plaid design) over the quote words.

Paper ribbon was added in the punched holes for a hanger.  This would look great on a door knob or in a cluster of photos.
