Creating a Joy Journal

As my daughter rapidly approaches her teenage years, I wanted to create something special for her to capture the happy moments. A place that she can look back at on those bad days and remember all the good things that have happened also. I decided the Crosses 6 X 8 Wood Album would be the perfect place to get it started!

Joy Journal

As is pretty typical of my projects, I don't have a lot of products on this, so it can easily be replicated.

First off I painted it white.  I added a title using stickers and then went for a collage style look all over the cover.  I used A LOT of stickers and love how it came together. It definitely has a tween feel to it don't you think?

I backed the beautiful crosses with black cardstock so that they would pop a little more.  Quick, simple, and therapeutic on a couple levels!  Hopefully this will be a help to her for years to come!

Thanks for stopping by today!
