Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi Everyone!!  I am super excited to be sharing my very first project for Clear Scraps DT.

What I have created today is this super cute hanging Mini Heart Shaker by Clear Scraps.  

I started out by glueing pattern paper to the bottom heart piece.  I then glued 2 of the spacer pieces down.  I then added pattern paper to the top heart and inked it with distress ink from Tim Holtz, Victorian Velvet.

I then glued the clear acetate and the top heart together.  I added my sequin mix before glueing the top and bottom pieces together.

For the final touches I added a wood word sentiment and some flowers from my stash.  So that it would hang I added some chinese braid to the edge of the shaker and left long tails to back a bow, so that it had something to hang from.

I just love how this turned out.  It was so easy and quick to make.  Thank you for joining me on my very first DT project!!
