Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello everyone!  Laura here today to share a project

created using one of the DIY Pallets from Clear Scraps.

There are several DIY Pallet shapes, I chose the Deco shape for this

springtime home decor, because it seemed the curved edges

made it the perfect choice with the flowers and butterflies.

The pallets can be painted, stained, inked, stamped on, whatever

you'd like to do.  Not big into the drying time, etc?   You can

do what I did here, and cover it with paper.  Just trace the

shape onto your pretty paper, and cut it out.  You can cover it

all, or you can do as I did here, and cut it to fit the slats on

the pallet.  It give the project just a bit of a different look.

Springtime is the time when the flowers start blooming, and

the butterflies are soon to follow.

So what's more perfect than the new Clear Scraps

butterfly stencil?!!  This 4×6" stencil is called

Butterfly Flock.  It's a sweet swirl of butterflies

winging their way across your project!   I used

the stencil and some black ink applied with a sponge

applicator thru the stencil to create this look.

The word "Imagine" is another favorite from

Clear Scraps, one of their Chipboard Word Titles.

This one, I just painted with black acrylic paint. 

Super easy, but it makes a statement on the project…..the

contrast of the black on the bright background really

makes the word pop!

The stickers are on the project using pop dots

to give it some dimension. 

Just a sweet simple project that can be

displayed to remind you Spring is right around

the corner, or year round as an encouragement for

any and every day.
