Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today using several Clear Scraps products to create a 12" x 12"  layout.  Have you seen all the acylics to create with?

I used an XL Clear Shape for the base of my layout.  You can find assorted XL Clear Shapes here.  At 12" x 12", these Clear Shapes can be painted, stained, ink, and even covered with pattern paper.  They easily slip into scrapbooks, can be used in shadow boxes or simply hung up as is.

Remove the film from one side of the acrylic panel. Use molding paste with the Shiplap Stencil in 2 opposite corner and the 6" Swirl Pumpkin Stencil in the other 2 corners.  The Swirl Purmpkin stencil is so versatile that you can use it for non fall projects.

Once dry, spritz the panel with assorted colors of Fireworks! shimmery craft sprays, picking up on the colors in the photos.  Once dry, remove the film from the other side.  This has ensured that the other side remains free of paints and inks while working.

Determine the placement of the  letters and adhere to the layout.  Since I was creating a beach theme, I used Mod Podge Spray Glue across the layout and poured on mini art stones.  As the mini stones resembled grains of sand, they were a perfect addition to this layout.

Once dry, I adhered the photos to the panel.

Next, I selected one the chipboard word titles -  Magical chipboard word title – and spritzed it with Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Spray.  When dry, I placed it above the photos on the acrylic layout.

Finally, I added a sailboat created from Rinea Foiled Papers and a Spellbinders die to help set the tone of the layout.
