Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi, Connie here with a fun project using the Vintage Wood Phone Stand by Clear Scraps.   There are so many ways you can add color to these phone stands, I chose to use acrylic paint.  I have seen them with pattern paper and with nothing, natural wood.  I loved all the looks!!!

Start by sanding the wood lightly and then add a coat of color.  I used acrylic paint.  The center cluster is put on freehand but stencils or decoupage are other options for added design. 
The checker border under the flower cluster is a border stencil by Clear Scraps.  They have some really cute ones~check them out!  The last thing I did was speckled it with black acrylic paint.
