Hello! Winter has made an early appearance here in the Midwest! I'm not a big fan of snow but I do love scrapbooking about it! Using the Tags Mixable 6×8 Album, I documented some older photos of my kids where we had a photoshoot during a snow storm! The album has 5 cascading pages alternating acrylic and chipboard. Before decorating my album, I painted the chipboard pages with white acrylic paint. I also lined the acrylic pages with the same white paint.
The focal point of my front page is the new Snow Globe Chipboard Embellishment. I painted the Snow Globe with white acrylic paint, as well as added patterned paper to the base.
I covered each page with patterned paper using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive. I then trimmed any excess paper as well as used my sanding tool to smooth edges.
Each page is large enough to fit a 4×6 photo; however I like to add additional patterned paper underneath my picture as well as mat onto cardstock.
Here you can see the white acrylic lined at the bottom of the page. I feel that it helps the acrylic pages stand out and give your book dimension.
I utilized my border punches to create fun strips of patterned paper at the bottom of my pages. This helps break the line between the patterns and white chipboard/acrylic.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Hope this inspires you to create with a few of your favorite Clear Scraps products! Have a great day!
