Hello, Clear Scraps friends. Leah here with you this afternoon sharing this cute Laundry home decor sign.
Do you ever feel like the never-ending laundry grows overnight? I did and wanted something cute for my laundry area!

I lightly sanded the  Rectangle Medium Pallet shape and then brushed on an Antique wax stain. I wiped it off using a paper towel, but its recommended to use a lint-free cloth to wipe off the excess stain.

I let the board dry for about an hour, then I taped down the 6×16 Laundry farmhouse stencil and applied a coarse texture gel on the stencil.

While the gel is still wet, lift the stencil and wash immediately. The texture gel didn't take long to dry and creates this wonderful raised texture once dried. I then used my electronic cutter to create the smaller saying and applied chalk paint for the rest of the saying.

I applied twine to the back with hot glue to create a hanger.
