Hi everyone! Laura here with you today to share a little
winter love created on a Clear Scraps 12×12 Acrylic Sheet.
The clear acrylic sheets are fun to create with, you can change
the backgrounds, layer, do anything you want and one of my
favorite things is to create a sort of overlay out of it.
I took this picture on a dark background so it was
easier to see how I brushed the edges of the acrylic
sheet with white acrylic paint to make the edges
look "frosted". Perfect for a winter LO. You could
do more, use a stencil, or even stamp if you'd like,
this is one of the reasons the acrylic sheets are so
versatile and fun to create with! I've also created
LO's using alcohol inks. It's really only limited
by your imagination. And to create the base for
your photo, you just start layering up your pretty
patterned papers as you would on any LO you
normally create on paper or cardstock. Just
use your favorite strong adhesive and layer away.
Blank chipboard pieces are a great way to create your
own matching embellishments, and can add a lot to
your LO's. Clear Scraps has so many to choose from
in their store! Here I used the Coffee Mug Chipboard
Embellishment. It looks oh so cute sitting next to that
journal box that was a part of the paper collection I
used, and by using a few scraps from that collection,
I was able to create a perfect match! Simple to just
trace and cut out, then glue to the chipboard. I like to
ink up the edges to give it a more finished look. Want

You'll find them all right HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
