Leah here with you today to share a flashback post of mine from November 2016, while we gear up for the NEW releases coming up very soon!!

Today I am sharing with you how I jazzed up the gorgeous large Deco Portrait Clipboard!

I have always struggled with WHAT to do with a clipboard. I am so over-analytical about the purpose of things. Then as I was staring at it, I realized it is just another canvas to hold a piece of art. It doesn't have to do anything except to display something beautiful. THAT is its function! And then the mojo hit, and I decided from now on, I will probably use these to create layouts on.

I used stazon ink and a Christmas stamp of all things to create some interest on the acrylic clipboard. I then added a pattern background to the backside and adhered it in place and cut away the excess paper. From there, I started building my layers on the front of the clipboard.

Once finished, I have my own home decor piece/frame/layout to hang in my home. Like an instant frame! What do you think? How would you use your clipboard from Clear Scraps? There are so many to choose from, check them out!
