Patchwork Bunny

Greetings!   I just love this new Bunny Pallet from Clear Scraps.  My first project for Clear Scraps was this DIY Bunny Pallet Last Year.   So when I got this new bunny with the floppy ear I immediately started thinking patchwork.  So I reached into my paper stash and started cutting “patches” from my patterned paper.

I drew a “plumb” line to make sure my first row was straight and then started laying down my patches.  I used mod podge to adhere the individual pieces.

I kept laying down pieces until the entire pallet was covered.  For the edges I just applied the patches so that they extended beyond the edges.

Once the pieces were dry, I flipped the pallet over and trimmed away the excess.

Using a archival pen, I added faux stitching to all my patchwork.

I then sealed my pallet with Mod Podge.   Once dry I added my tail with some cotton balls.
