Hi everyone! It's Annie and today I'm sharing a quick tutorial to make this fun Valentine's Day heart sign that's the perfect last minute décor project. Pairing the Medium Heart Pallet with part of the new Heart Mini Wood Frame set, I whipped up a bright and modern-looking piece full of love.
Start by painting the Medium DIY Heart Pallet Shape with red acrylic paint and the inner shape from the Heart Mini Wood Frame set with white acrylic paint. Once dry, sand each piece with a sanding sponge, and apply a second coat for a beautiful, even finish.
Using the Brick Wall stencil, apply white embossing paste randomly around the Heart Medium DIY Pallet Shape with a palette knife. Flip the stencil around a bit as you move around the piece with your stenciling to make the pattern look a little less regular. Set the pallet shape aside to dry for at least an hour.
Meanwhile, ink the edges of the small heart shape with red ink for a little interest and finishing. Die cut a sentiment out of white and red cardstock and adhere them together using liquid glue.
Adhere the small heart shape to the Medium DIY Heart Pallet Shape with hot glue and add the sentiment to the center of the small heart with foam adhesive. Turn the piece over and attach a natural jute hanger to the back with a heavy duty stapler.
