XL Wood Bunny

Hello friends and happy Saturday! Hope you are having a good start to your weekend! Spring is just around the corner and today I'm sharing a fun Easter project using the new XL Wood Bunny! This would make nice home decor piece for the spring or a welcoming door hanging!

I  began by painting my shape with chalk paint in a bright patina color allowing some of the wood to show through. This is an easy technique to give a distressed look to your wood.  Also, the chalk paint dries quickly so you can move on to your next step!

Using my Silhouette and white cardstock, I  cut a pretty "celebrate spring" title for my project.  I  simply adhered with Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive; it dries quickly and will not warp or miscolor the wood.  You can also add sentiments using vinyl as well!

Again, using my Beacon Adhesive I  adhered these pretty pink paper flowers in a cluster around my title.

Last, I   created a bow to adhere onto the bunny ear for decoration. You can also use a hole punch such as a Crop-o-dile if you want to hang your project.
