Hi friends! It's Jennifer here on the blog to share a mini album I created using the Chipboard 8×8 3-Tabbed Album! We took a short trip to Michigan last month so I wanted to document some of my favorite photos! Clear Scraps has a variety of styles and sizes of mini albums to choose from! One of the many reasons why I love creating with them!
I began by painting the edges on both sides of each page with white acrylic paint. I allowed a bit of the chipboard to show through to give a distressed look to go with the patterned paper. I then cut my background papers to 7.75 x 7.75 inches and adhered with my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive.
Each page is large enough to fit standard size 4×6 photos (both vertical and horizontal). I tried to mix my sizes up by adding a few 4×4 pictures as well. I love the clean look of matting my photos onto white cardstock so you will find this throughout my book.
I tried to utilize at least two different patterns on each page as well as adding in an accent color. Here, you can see I adhered a strip of the light blue pattern at the right edge of my page.
I also added embellishments from the collection I used such as stickers and chipboard shapes.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope you are inspired to create a mini book of your own using a Clear Scraps Album! You can see all the albums by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
