Hello,
Tami here with scrapbook layout to share with you.
I have been going through all my photos and scrapbook layouts trying to see what I've done and haven't done.
I ran across a photo of my son and his girlfriend playing video games at a local game center. It reminded me that I had a Game On Chipboard Embellishment.
I decided to print the photo and get the layout done while I was thinking about it!
I wanted to create my own printed paper to accent the photo. I used the 6" Chicken Wire Stencil and spritzed it with various colors of ink sprays to make it. I then cut out around it to make it less "blocky".
A HINT for using stencils with spray ink is to spritz directly above the stencil and not at a slant. This helps prevent the ink from getting under the stencil.
The Game On Chipboard Embellishment was painted with Mixed Media Ink, then outlined with a silver gel pen. If you want your colors to be brighter when you ink or paint the raw chipboard, you can give them a base coat of white paint first.
