Next take another sheet of decorated paper and trim to size across each pallet section, on your wood pumpkin surface. I left about 1/4 inch of the orange base showing. Distress and ink the edges of each piece of paper.  Adhere to your wood pumpkin surface with Beacon 3 in 1 glue.

Then take some Glitteriffic Gold paint and brush onto the butterfly wings. This adds a nice glitterery effect. After it dries, I  carefully bent the butterfly wings slightly, so they appear to be moving.

Take some of the Finnibair rust pastes and apply to the part of the stem and bottom of your pumpkin. I apply to the surface using a pouncing motion and a stiff old paintbrush,  adding one color at a time, until I get the desired look. Let dry. Using a hot glue gun or strong adhesive,  like Beacon 3 in 1 Glue, adhere your wooden pumpkin pallet shape to the middle of your canvas.

Now the fun part of your decorating your pumpkin. Arrange your flowers, and other embellishments you like to your pumpkin surface. I like to add a few pearls onto my flowers with Glossy Accents. I brushed some gold Glitteriffic polka dot and Gold paint to my flower petals. I also glued my Clear Scraps swirls butterfly to the upper right corner of my canvas. I also added some foam dots to the back of my little fox to add some dimension.
